Winning entry for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra (TSO) Heyward Prize for Orchestral composition  

A sonic story (tone poem) based on the poem of the same title which describes the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. 'From Valley to Summit' had its world premiere, performed by the TSO at Symphony Under the Stars Launceston Tasmania 22 February 2020. In 2021, the work was recorded by ABC Studios Federation Concert Hall Hobart, Tasmania with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Northey.
